Gaelscoil na Ríthe is a mixed sex primary school. Our school operates under the patronage of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Meath and the teachings of the church are the basis of the morality of the school. The Roman Catholic faith is taught and children are prepared for the sacraments during school hours, with the assistance of parents under the guidance of our local Priest, who often visits the school.
The Irish language and its associated areas play a important role in the school community. The school promotes an Irish ethos, we are very proud of our Gaelic heritage and love our language and culture of all kinds. We have a rich tradition of excellence in music and drama and are also very enthusiastic about sports. An Ghaeilge is the everyday language of communication within the Gaelscoil and the chief medium of instruction, it is through the medium of Gaeilge that the child participates in all school related activities
Our principal aim in Gaelscoil na Ríthe is to provide an excellent education for all our pupils. It is our objective that the life of the school would have a positive impact on the lives of our pupils for as long as they attend our school and that they would have positive memories of their school lives afterwards. If you share the values, ethos and vision we extend a cordial invitation to you to join the Gaelscoil na Ríthe community.
