Mar aon le an-chuid scoileanna eile ar fud na tíre táimid ag ceiliúradh Seachtain na Scoileanna Caitliceacha an tseachtain seo. Chuireamar tús leis an seachtain ar an Luan le seirbhís úrnaí. Ar an gCéadaoin beidh Lá Fhéile Bríde, tús an Earraigh, agus beidh na ranganna ar fad ag foghlaim faoi Naomh Bríd. Freisin is é an Chéadaoin Lá na Seantuismitheoirí. Tá cuireadh tugtha amach ag gach rang dá seantuismitheoirí teacht chun na scoile an lá sin. Beidh seirbhís álainn againn le ceol agus canadh againn freisin. Beidh soláistí ar fáil tar éis an seirbhís. An Aoine is ea Lá Fhéile Naomh Blaise agus beidh an tAthair Colm ag teacht isteach chun scornaigh a bheannú.
This week we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week, along with many other schools around the country. We began the week with a prayer service in the Halla. Wednesday is St. Brigid’s Day, the beginning of Spring, and all the classes will be learning about St Brigid. Wednesday is also Grandparents’ Day. Invitations have been sent out to all grandparents to visit our school. We will hold a service in the hall with a cupán tae after it. Friday is the feast of St Blaise and an tAthair Colm will be coming into the school to bless our throats.
Could you please confirm with the school if your child’s grandparent will be able to attend ‘Lá na Seantuismitheoirí’. Go raibh maith agaibh.
