Déantar iniúchadh ar cheist na bulaíochta ó dhearcadh na bpáirtithe éagsúla -an bulaí, an t- íobartach, an finné. Beidh imeachtaí éagsúla ar siúl sna ranganna i rith na seachtaine le béim curtha ar bheith dearfach agus cinéalta le chéile.

The school celebrated Friendship Week recently. This annual event focuses on how each person in Gaelscoil na Ríthe can ensure that our school is a happy and safe place for all. The issue of Bullying was examined in depth and the roles and perspectives of all parties to bullying – bully, victim and bystander, are teased out. The children will be asked to focus on being positive and kind to each other. As part of our the week’s activities the children from Rang 2 to Rang 6 took part in very successful seminars on Internet Safety, the dangers of cyber bullying, stranger danger. We also have new friendship benches in the yard, where children can go if they are finding it hard to play with others. We are trying to raise the issue of social responsibility with all our children, to monitor the yard or the bench for anyone who may be feeling excluded and empower them to respond.
